Azure Rose of Sharon – 6″ Starter Plant

The common Rose of Sharon (althea) varieties have magenta to lavender flowers. Like roses, althea lack a true blue gene.  This unusual variety comes closer to blue than most.

Azure Althea blooms from July into fall, with each blossom lasting just a single day. Like all rose of Sharon shrubs, deer usually avoid it.
